What makes you passionate about Early Childhood Education? The childcare industry has always been a passion of mine because it’s one of the most rewarding jobs. You get to be involved in shaping and educating young children, watching them grow and being a part of something special. Children are the future so being able to be a part of that makes it all worth it.

What makes your centre different from others? Being a part of a small centre like Box Hill is so rewarding. I’ve gained a closer connection with the families and the children. I can confidently say I know all the children and the families in ways you wouldn’t get in a larger centre. Our centre is home like and we’re all a family. It makes coming to work more enjoyable knowing I fit in.

What makes you passionate about Early Childhood Education? I am most passionate about seeing children’s learning and development and wanting to be a part of their journey. I am willing to building secure relationships with children, families and educators who I am able to work beside.  I enjoy being there to provide comfort and help children settle into a new environment and bond with their educators and peers. We work together to ensure all children to actively explore their environment and support them to form and develop trusting relationships with other children and educators. We strongly believe that early childhood education is the foundation of a child’s future. We believe in providing children with the highest quality of care allowing each and every child to reach their fullest potential, by enhancing all areas of growth and development, in a warm caring and home like environment that is a reflection of our children, families and our community. We believe it is important to be aware of diversity and multiculturalism within the community in which we live.  We aim to reflect diversity throughout our Centre, as well as in our programming.
